MAFRAPRINT printing plants are a part of MAFRA a. s., publisher of the daily newspapers MF DNES, LIDOVÉ NOVINY and METRO. More than 60% of our printing capacity are available for external clients. We can help you to combine the press presentation of your company or products with other media types such as the most listened Czech radio station Impuls or TV Óčko.

We are equipped with high-quality production technology

We have 7 production lines. Their base are Koenig & Bauer Colora coldset web offset printing machines and FERAG mailroom equipment. The geographical concept of two printing plants with the same technology in Prague and Olomouc provides excellent conditions for maintaining the high quality printing and an easy supply of newsprint products in all regions of the Czech Republic.

We print newspapers, magazines, leaflets and other formats

You get in touch with our products every day, whether it be national daily newspapers, regional newsletters, business newsletters or magazines and journals on various topics. Make yourself visible with leaflets that we can print for you in unlimited quantities or with magazines on glossy paper or newspapers.

Post-press possibilities are wide open

We enlarged our post-press possibilities using the modern Müller Martini gatherer-stitcher system for magazines. We purchased Ferag trimming drums for manufacturing a wide range of dimensions at printing speed. We are ready to prepare all the products quickly, to wrap them neatly and bring them wherever you need.

Five Computer to Plate imagesetters can quickly prepare your printing plates with a laser beam without the use of other materials.

Online trimming

If you do not like the "newspaper" edges or if you want to have another than the basic format, we can offer you trimming of the product from three sides.

V1 binding

The resulting product can be wire-stitched at the full printing speed. There is no problem to gather and stitch newspaper pages with a cover on glossy paper.

Company profile

We are a printing plant with two factories that have a geographically strategic position and a sufficient capacity to do big, medium or small jobs in a wide range of qualities and sizes. You can also get other media types of the whole company MAFRA in one package with us.

Production technology

We are specialized in coldset web offset printing, a process in which ink is transferred from the printing plate to the paper indirectly and allowed to dry naturally through evaporation and absorption. The post-press (print finishing) enables cutting of the product from three sides, gathering and V1 binding, insertion of supplements or card gluing.
